Evening Christmas Dinner – from 6.30pm on 13th December

Two or Three courses

This year we have introduced Evening Christmas Dinner, with two or three courses, for those of you who can’t get away as a group during the day, but want to enjoy the fabulous surroundings of Cromwells and our delicious Christmas food and drinks.

We can accommodate groups of up to about 20 for an evening of your choice.  For those of you in small groups then, subject to availability, you can come along to enjoy yourselves on 13th December.

We’d love to see you and you’ll be welcomed with a nice glass of Prosecco or Elderflower Presse on the night.  Come and join us for your Christmas feast this year.

Cromwells Traditional Christmas Lunch – 3rd to 21st December

This year we again have our ever popular Christmas lunch menu. Come and cosy up by our inglenook fireplace and enjoy a two course meal including roast turkey with all the trimmings (vegetarian option also available), followed by a delicious selection of homemade desserts including Christmas pudding.  Wine will also be available as well as selection of craft beers along with maybe a port and our delicious Irish coffee to round off the meal.

If it’s something lighter you require, then how about a freshly baked turkey baguette with homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce followed by a homemade mincepie all washed down with some deliciously warming mulled wine or cider.

Come and join us at Cromwells this Christmas and you’ll be sure of a warm, festive welcome.

Pop Up Restaurant – 9th November 2018 – 7pm for 7.30pm

Welcome to our next special dinner date in collaboration with Four Gables Food Academy.  Here is our menu, with the option of matched wine, and what a menu to choose from!  On the evening, each course will be described and explained by chef Andy – he really is very passionate about his food.

  • Beetroot & Seville orange soup with sour cream and Avruga caviar
    (wine: Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough)
  • Roasted rump of Welsh Lamb, Aubergine puree, Potato fondant, medley of seasonal veg and a lavender jus
    (wine: Los Bailadores, Rioja 2014)
    Dauphinoise of Swede & Kohlrabi with a Gruyere cheese and Hazelnut glaze (v)

  • Hot Chocolate fondant, charred marshmallow and caramel ice cream
  • Tea, coffee and macaroons

Cost for the evening event is £40 per head, or £50 with a glass of each carefully selected and matched white & red wines..

Wines, craft beers, soft drinks and waters will also be available to all of our guests should you prefer.
